Each week I am going to give you our meals for the week & recipes to match.
With the juggle of work and life we are often on the run. Until I started taking the time to plan and put ideas in place we were governed by the fights about which take away we would have for dinner. I am not a very good cook but I am slowly learning. These days I do find if I take the time to plan for the week and to then shop accordingly 2 things have begun to happen.
- We save on the shopping expenses each week
- We all know what we are having for dinner and so there are no fights about what we are having as the kids especially now know that this has been planned and will be getting sorted already.
To start this we sat down as a family and wrote a list of all of our favorite meals – kids expecially included. This is then what we use as the basic list for dinners and then alter or change to suit.
